appears to be a major rush job to get implemented quickly. I'm tempted to go through the process to see what added benefits a user gets besides a blue check mark. Also, it will be interesting to see how they perform verification.

oh wow that is strange. i'm a current TB pre-elon subscriber & it used apple subscriptions. if they're only using payment info to verify users then that's not the same as the legacy verification system. what a desperate cash grab! 🤣
