Hahaha back in the 80s when pcs wouldn't boot complaining about a parity error, you opened the case and pushed all the ram chips on the motherboard back securely into their sockets. They used to creep out a bit due to thermal cycling.

Ha same issue yes, though the ones I used to deal with were the cheapest nastiest pc clones thrown together in a light industrial unit out in the boonies of west London.
