$150,000 isn't enough to warrant wrecking your life, character, reputation and also the jail time for the felony once they eventually catch you. The anxiety of being on the run for the rest of your life for something that you will likely spend in less that 2 years isn't worth it.

Depends. These days, it's easy to switch jobs. Moreover, if your job sucks (no corporate loyalty) and you have no ties anchoring you, then it's probably worth taking the money and running.

His name is going to be plastered all over media. A simple google search would bring him up to any future employer. I just don't see 150k worth it. Now if I can live off the interest from the money, then we can talk. Something like 3-5 million at 3% would pay 90-150k.
