I hate defending Cornyn but he’s trying to say that those decisions correctly overturned decades of unjust laws, positively comparing ending abortion to ending segregation, and thus putting him on the right side of history.

He's either tone deaf, unable to read the room or an actual racist. Keep in mind he was also replying to Obama's tweet who was a black president. So I'm not sure if he's trying to be uber cute here or if he's really this dumb. But either way, what a horrible tweet.
