Excited to present the Reddit Politosphere at #ICWSM2022 - a large and ideologically diverse dataset of online political discourse, covering more than 600 political subreddits over a period of 12 years.

The Reddit Politosphere has three main components:
1⃣ All comments from the political subreddits
2⃣ Social networks with the political subreddits as nodes and edges based on user overlap
3⃣ Metadata about users (pseudonymized) and subreddits

We hope that the Reddit Politosphere will benefit research at the intersection of the computational social sciences, network analysis, and natural language processing. In the paper, we use it for an exploratory analysis of subreddit polarization and radicalization.
