Johnny Depp has won his defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard. A jury found from the trial that she lied about being abused by him. In a statement responding to her humiliating loss, Heard said her free speech is being restricted.

It should be reminded that disgraced left-wing legal group wrote the draft defamatory essay for that was at the center of the lawsuits. ACLU wanted Heard to be an ambassador for the group because of her (fake) “expertise” on domestic abuse.

If people are frustrated with the downfall of the ACLU the group has stepped up to fill the void.

No problem. I have no association with them but appreciate their interest in advocating for 1st amendment rights. Something as a kid I was taught was paramount to a free society, something the ACLU has unfortunately abandoned for political interests.

I love FIRE but they're much more limited in scope than the ACLU is (or was, anyway); they're only concerned with college issues. There really isn't any good replacement that I know of outside of that context.
