I never saw Dexter before but just started watching it. I'm on the last episode of season one where his sister is captured by the ice-cream truck killer and I'm on the edge of my seat watching this!

Yeah I remember reading on Reddit that the show went off the rails around season 4 or 5? I can't remember which one.

Yeah, the first three seasons are great. Even the later seasons are good. It is famous for absolutely horrific series finale

I enjoy it every season of 13 episodes, when everything looks resolved on the 12th one. Miami as location is awesome, the colors, the music, everyone partying except him, I'm missing it on the new season.
