Serious question -- let's say you were abducted by aliens and returned safely but had no evidence. Would you tell people about the experience or keep it on the down low in order to protect your professional reputation?
(I'm not saying I was - just curious how others would deal)

Keep it to yourself because who wants to create grounds for a schizophrenia diagnosis, hard to predict on how people around you will react.

Yeah that is a good point. It makes you wonder how many people had actual experiences well outside the norm and just kept silent about it because society wouldn't accept their account of what happened.

I would probably tell my closest friends. It's not something I would be able to be quiet about tbh.

Given the state of both my country and the planet, I'd be begging the aliens to let me stay with them.

I would definitely describe it in extreme detail, publicly, on twitter. After all, if I've lost my senses, then I'd rather know it immediately. And if not, then the experience could help others who go through the same thing.
