"Nearly a third of new code on GitHub is written with AI help" makes literally no mathematical sense to me and I'd like to see how GitHub calculated it.

Are they including things like visual studio auto-complete? Things like that? I agree with you -- that number seems really out there.
No they straight up say it's Copilot.
What does "30% of code" mean though? What's the unit for code here?
