Actors on Twitter -- If someone joins SAG (so they are union) are they allowed to help out a friend for a student film project or is that a no-no? Would you get fined by SAG for doing free work for a student film?

Girlfriend's an actor: probably a no-go for on camera stuff but can help out with off camera stuff. Since its student project though, there's probably an application process to get approval for the SAG member to be on film.
