I am still trying to diagnose the issue with the Verizon FIOS Quantum router. There are latency spikes every 10-15 seconds where the router refuses to route anything. After some research, it appears it may be due to a memory leak in the OS or a NAT table that is too small.

It is super annoying because it causes latency spikes for the Pushshift API where a simple request will hang for 2-4 seconds. I tried rebooting the router, etc. -- it looks like a firmware issue so far.
