Yep -- it's been what... I think 2004 was the last time they came out? I remember that summer was insane when driving down the road and the windshield would turn into a war zone. Wow, time flies...

I'm kind of dating myself here when I say this but I can barely remember the first time I experienced cicadas back when I was in elementary school in the 1980's. I remember some of the kids would say the "W" on their wings meant "war." Kids and their imagination.
