Does anyone else ever have weird dreams about coding when you've been coding for hours on end all day? Is that normal or am I slowly going crazy?

I love it when I dream about it and I actually solve a problem I was struggling with (and remember it when I wake up) - best feeling.

This is how I used to feel as a grad student with hours and hours of coding time at my disposal and I am dying to feel that way again as a faculty - coding, dreaming of code, rinse, repeat 🔁 best feeling ever!!

That’s interesting— It hadn’t come that way for me — for me at some difficult problem solving times — I had an answer next morning when I woke up — I assume our brains keep on working on problems while in sleep — but it didn’t come out as dreams for me

Totally normal regards almost anything. I spent yesterday using an excavator to clean out a deep drain followed by dreams of tipping the machine into the hole last night
