Probably some mission-critical legacy computers hooked up to specialized equipment (scientific or otherwise).

Haha, sounds very fancy, but in my work I also use IE6 sometime just because there is this 15 years old piece of c...ode that nobody wants to update or replace.
By the way, did you know that Flash is dead? Some of us didn't.

Yepppp I've heard about like ATMs and other kiosk computers running old old builds of Windows CE and IE6/IE8 bc they're hardened and running in very controlled environments. If it's sufficient and stable, yeah, why bother upgrading? esp to an OS that's constantly shipping updates
