Each new data point is created when someone retweets the original tweet (or quotes the tweet). For popular tweets, the time intervals are generally fairly active (every few seconds or so). Once the tweet gets older than a day or two, actively drops off sharply.
Super cool! Does it handle the deleted users as well?
I'd be interested in knowing if the early signal boosts are coming from accounts that were later purged.
