A few highly specialized firms have the ability to dig your memory, find your wallet key, find what you did with your old hard-drive 25 years ago and track it down until they retrieve your coins, for a hefty percentage.

The more bitcoin that get digitally lost, the lower the supply. Maybe that's why it has consistently gone up in price. :)
