I'm figuring I'll have to pick two USB ports off the I/O header. A debug ~ if I'm correct I should be able to do shenanigans and SSH over USB, & one for the camera. It'd be nice to not have to do level shifting on both but I'm not holding my breath.

Oh gods no. That would be easy. The NanoPi series uses an ARM Allwinner H-series like an OrangePi and the version I'm going with is pared down to the minimum except I have a DVP (connector) or USB (jangly wires) camera option

Ahhh nice! I really enjoy playing with Raspberry Pi's...They're actually quite powerful for their size (especially the newer one with 8GB of ram)

This one's going to make me pick up a little Python, which I'd much rather learn than coding for an Arduino.
