Academic Twitter -- are "ethics" something that is concrete or is it more fluid and tied into the cultural / sociological atmosphere at specific times?
I get that there are probably some long-term concrete ethical considerations, but is there an area of ethics that is tied into

culture such that something that may have been considered ethical 50 years ago would be considered unethical today?
If so, can you give an example of something that was considered academically ethical around the 1950s that is considered unethical today?

Ethics may be dynamic. Subject to change depending on the person and the extent of culpability based on either immediate belief system and it's application under appraisal by a second person(s) or entity. Conjugal rights existed in to the 1970s.
