They found an interesting monolith in Utah but they don't want to give the location of the monolith. However, it isn't that hard to figure out the location given the info.

We found it! The question is definitely who set it up though and yeah how it got there! Especially since it goes back to 2015!

It boggles my mind that they didn't realize with all the publicly available clues that people would be able to find it fairly quickly.
True, people are smart.
But the fact is there are dumb people who will find the location and attempt to hike out to it and likely get into trouble, or die - just like the idiots who died trying to recreate an INTO THE WILD experience.
Safety is a valid concern in this.

Also, is there a possibility of damage to the landscape with people trekking out to it?
Either from a physical or cultural point of view?
