I wonder if Linux will allow you to use a Unicode right-to-left mark (RLM) or left-to-right mark (LRM) in a filename. That could cause all sorts of insanity.

Yes Linux doesn’t care, it is just a series of bytes as far as the os is concerned, and it is up to each app to interpret those bytes as they see fit

There are all sorts of fun ones. That’s INE, there are others that have similar effects depending on context.
