It’s pretty simple. Streaming companies pay licensing fees to carry TV shows and movies. (In the case of TZ, that means paying CBS.) S4 is TZ’s one hour-long season. Netflix isn’t willing to pay the fee for a season that doesn’t feature the more well-known half-hour episodes.
