Why averages are sometimes bad to use. For all active Twitter users (from a sample of 100 million users), the average user has 5,895 tweets.
The median # of tweets for that same sample is 726 tweets.
Why the disparity? The most active Twitter account has over 50 million tweets

I just did rudimentary math while in the bathroom for how many tweets per second that is from February 1st, 2010 (account created in February 2010), and that's 6.685632 tweets per second averaged using 50 million tweets since then. That's so fucking crazy
