Is it just me or have O'Reilly books really increased in price? I can't believe I paid close to $50 each for a few 150 page books. I used to about $30 for a 400 page book.

They started running out of animals to put on the covers a couple of years ago. The extra cost helps fund zoological research to discover new ones.
