How do you remove a user from a slack workgroup?

Hi there Jason! Apologies if it's hard to find this one, but this article describes how to deactivate a member slack.com/help/articles/ - if you don't see the options to do this, you'll have to escalate to an Admin or Owner on your team, listed here: slack.com/account/worksp

The problem is that I invited someone to the wrong workgroup but apparently I don't have the required permissions to remove them?
How is that possible?

Please note that it's possible for your Admins to choose to change invitation permissions, noted here: slack.com/help/articles/ 2/2

Thanks for your assistance! I feel like there is a fundamental flaw in the logic though. If a non-owner of a slack workgroup accidentally invites someone to the workspace, the person who invited them should be able to remove them. Otherwise, if a co-owner is not available, it
sets up a situation where someone who was accidentally added cannot be removed until a co-owner of the workgroup becomes available.

Thanks again Jason! Please keep in mind that while what it sounds like you've run into is the default behaviour, it's configurable by your Admin/Owner team, so now might be the best time to start that conversation. We'll let the team know that this caused some confusion today.🙏
