Why is it that the democratic party cannot fight back against right-wing extremism as effectively as the Lincoln Project is currently doing? I am not even going to call most of the GOP party "conservative" since many of them now follow far-right ideology.

Perhaps an answer lies within demographics? Among those who've long enjoyed relative peace, relative wealth, less effort, less need to learn? If in turn these number in the majority, do they not become a naturally-occuring, informal yet united "resistance" to unpleasant truths?🤔
