I have a strong opinion -- I don't think Twitter should allow Trump to delete his tweets. Using some of Twitter's reasoning why they won't ban him, I would make the argument that his tweets should be a matter of public record and should not be able to be removed by him.

Isn't there some law. Presidential Records Act. I am too tired, but doesn't that say something like all things the president says have to be permanently preserved?
I am not sure if it's Twitter's job, but it could probable be argued that they should make his account write only.

Yes. The presidential records act was put in place well before social media but the spirit of the law should cover social media posts as digital documents.
I believe there is a strong argument to be made that Trump has broken the law when removing tweets.
