I have a strong opinion -- I don't think Twitter should allow Trump to delete his tweets. Using some of Twitter's reasoning why they won't ban him, I would make the argument that his tweets should be a matter of public record and should not be able to be removed by him.

Isn't there some law. Presidential Records Act. I am too tired, but doesn't that say something like all things the president says have to be permanently preserved?
I am not sure if it's Twitter's job, but it could probable be argued that they should make his account write only.

I am with you - 💯
they are public record
I also believe PUBLIC should
have access to view
both the tweets AND ads
that the algos microtarget
at his account feed
(i.e. used for his official "business")

If it's a matter of public record, then the DOJ will legally capture the source and content of his messages. Twitter is irrelevant.
