I will be releasing a data dump of ~100 million #reddit users that include the account creation date and karma amounts (for posts and comments). If you use Reddit data for your research, this data set will give you additional metadata that may help you.

Great news! I see the profile_over_18 variable. Can we use that to see how many sub-reddit members are under 18?

No.
A user only need to state they are over 18 if they want to see some adult subreddits.
You don't need to fill that when you register.
And anyway, as always with that info on internet, it's gonna be very unreliable...

Good question! I felt the data fields included here were very basic and didn't include any real PII. The data dump will basically consist of the account creation date and karma levels. This is data that is already openly available via Reddit. I am basically consolidating the data
