If you:
"cp -v /data/RC_2020-06-26_??.ndjson.zst" and forget the period to copy the files to the current directory and there are only two files that match, the first file will overwrite the second.
Don't know if it is a "bug" per se, but I don't think anyone would ever mean...

It occurs when the shell expands the wildcards into exactly two files. This is an edge case but will rock your world if the data is important and not backed up yet.

use -n or set the bash to no-clobber? I've overwritten so much stuff in the past that I use -n by default now.
