Make an account, no followers, not following anyone, tweet random words every so often and check the analytics of the tweet over time, graph out the change over time for each word.

That's a really good idea. Now I just realized I could look at Twitter data and see if there is any correlation between what is tweeted and who likes / replies / retweets to figure out which accounts get triggered by certain words / phrases / hashtags.

Because if a view is counted when being "viewed" by the API, then you'd only need a word to get caught in the filter.
I also wonder if certain accounts have restrictions, if a newly created account with no followers won't even appear in the API of others.
