I think it depends on the size of the particulate matter Greater than like PM2.5 just wash your car every day (1/2-kidding). But these Saharan winds happen every few years, like El Nino in the Pacific. You probably wouldn't notice. & if you wear your mask, irrelevant ;)

I got *really* obsessed for a while after the 2018 Camp Fire when we had weeks where the AQI was 700+ at times. Also why I have a couple N95s around. [we donated what masks we didn't need, but they arrived at the MN post office right about the time it was burned to the ground]
