It's amazing how forgetting one colon in a Python script can cause the interpreter to admonish you. I wish there was a way to turn on "angry warning messages" in Python.
"You royally fucked up now and I refuse to even attempt to run your shitty code."

The Angry Python Interpreter would be a great side project. Screw all this social media analysis crap - write some really angry error messages. :-)

I wonder if someone has already made a module to do that. I need to check but that would be a fun side project!

I always dismiss my compiler's complaints at first, "What?! Are you kidding me? No, I got that right!" But when I learn what I did wrong, I'm always very apologetic, "My bad. I'm sorry, you were right. That one's on me..." It makes it hard to code with other people in the room...

EXCEPT THESE TWO TIMES WHEN IT WAS THE GODDAMN INTERPRETER AND A LIBRARY THAT WERE WRONG! Man, did I ever feel vindicated.
