What is generally the minimum IMDB score you will tolerate when choosing to watch a new movie via Netflix, etc.?

Depends on genre.
Action, Drama, Fantasy has to be pretty high for me. Like 8, 8.5 plus
Sci-Fi and Comedy I can tolerate pretty low stuff. Like 5-6

Good point on the Genre classification. I generally will go down to 5.5 unless it is a known campy movie like "The Room."
