Every day I see thousands of attempts to hack into the web facing servers. Some of the user names tried are just strange (like the last one in this list).

Also, a big shout out to the creators of fail2ban. Such a great little ssh security tool.

I saw the same thing on my servers. Install knockd and they go away. :-)
