Wondering what’s the “typical profile” for a normal account. Isn’t twitter “whom to follow” suggestions for new accounts influence this number? I guess you can compare with the profile of CNN or maybe other politician 🧐

Yes, I would guess that many new real people on Twitter follow Trump. This isn't obviously a red flag for me.

I'd be curious if you look at these accounts a week later how many are purged Twitter may not be stopping them real time, they could do nightly or periodic batch clean-ups based on certain traits
We looked at those patterns for journalists accounts and how they gathered their followers. We observed various anomalous patterns indicating bot activities for those accounts. But better to be careful since Twitter also recommending popular accounts when creating new accounts.
