I agree with 3 -- which might be a galaxy ending event. I think the sun turning off for two weeks wouldn't be too bad (as long as the mass is still there).
It would kill all plant-life, wind, wreak havoc on the weather, .... Additionally, something that massive would start fusing hydrogen
Because if you removed all of the electrons from everything within a light year, you'd end up with extremely positively charged objects that would tend to explode violently.
