Interesting. I've had so many nightmares in my time that they don't really bother me anymore. But earlier tonight my brain worked overtime and put me in a large old haunted house where none of the light switches worked well while getting chased by a possessed doll.
Thanks brain!

I mean as far as nightmares go, it was really a good one. There were times that I would be cornered and the doll's face would smile at me and then rotate 360 degrees -- so my brain was really working overtime to create a vivid terrifying experience.

Also, supposedly light switches never work in dreams, although I've never been reliably lucid enough to verify this

In my more lucid dreams, yeah light switches never work. I wonder if anyone had created a "dream's trope" website that covers all this. The other one is trying to run away from an explosion or something and feeling like your legs are in a 2 foot swimming pool.
