Do you think Rust will really compete with C in embedded systems, though? C has always been the gold standard there.
I'd say Yes, with a caveat, all "embedded vendors" would need to adopt Rust, if that does not happen, the fight is lost before starting, and any advantage or competition is irrelevant, that would be the barrier
