In Kendall (near MIT), something like an inch or so this evening. Lots last night though.

Probably a stupid question but keep in mind I've never been to California -- are there any parts of California that see any significant snowfall?

Northern California and the Sierra Nevadas. There's a picture on /r/LosAngeles of snow covered peaks right now (...3+ hours from downtown LA).
But I'm from San Diego, so I wouldn't actually know aha.
