Yeah -- it's extremely aggravating. I can't imagine how this doesn't set up a hostile working environment for his coworkers.

That was exactly my reaction. Technically it is a public university but I can't imagine they can't find a legal path to dismiss him.
What if every student refused to take a class offered by him?
