Twitter changed 1% Sample data! 1st info: Dramatically less meta-data (NO sender info, just id). Sampling now w/ 1ms window (old: 10ms). Not good for Science! #CSS #Twitter Thanks: @fredmorstatter @mehrnoom Background: Our 2018 paper on Twitter sampling: bit.ly/2JLaa5q

He mentioned "no sender info" but I still see user objects within the tweets so I'm not sure what he meant by that.

No time to look into it myself. Could this be about the upcoming Sampled Stream, which is currently tested in Labs? developer.twitter.com/en/docs/labs/s There are some changes which info is included, but a detailed user object can be requested through a parameter. developer.twitter.com/en/docs/labs/s
