HOO BOY! One hell of an upgrade👍 Amazon says $2.5k for the 15 Tb one, which is not as expensive as I had expected. Can't wait for these massive SSDs to hit the Indian store, juggling three 4Tb hard disks is giving me all kinds of anxiety...

$2.5k for that size is really amazing considering the endurance and speed. That's not that much higher per terabyte than standard SATA SSD's and this is an order of magnitude faster than them.

Man that price does come with some sting, if it weren't for those numbers, especially the endurance, I'd have an easier time ignoring this puppy. And unlike consumer drives these ain't coming down in price anytime soon... being a hoarder is going to cost me my kidneys lol 😂

yes, I did quickly check those out after finding this one and cost scaled down linearly... but my collection is touching 14 Tb and I'd be disappointed to have it spread across so many disks... simplicity comes with a steep price 😅

absolutely, it's like when Arnold picked up the mini-gun in Terminator 2 and John says "That is so you" 😀 Your work on reverse engineering tweet IDs was genius. My hobby collection of generic wikipedia/HN dumps pales in comparison, you definitely can drive that hardware 👍
