This is just like .... I don't have the words. It's like we're living in one of the worst political novels ever and the writer just completely said "fuck it" and started taking the plot in any which direction.

I don't think anyone knows how to deal with corruption that is so swaggering and defiant in its presentation. It's surreal.

That's a good point. We're truly in uncharted waters. My biggest concern is the constant normalization of this. Imagine if Obama had done this -- he would have been impeached the same day. GOP? Business as usual.
