Recon has now found a believable SFMR of 164kts in the NE eyewall of #Hurricane #Dorian. Unbelievable. Pressure 913mb as well.
This thing might be stronger than #Hurricane #Irma ever was.

Possible. The planes found several >160kts(185mph) SFMRs. Although they´re believed to be relatively unreliable at high wind speeds, they are so numerous that my estimate is 185mph, based on them
