Here is a chart showing all tweets sent as a reply to one of Donald Trump's tweet. Each time he tweets, there is a surge of replies that last for about two minutes before rapidly slowing down in frequency.

My plan is to look at his last X tweets, pull all users who reply, find the users who consistently reply, find the median reply delay to his tweets and rank the users by smallest reply delays.
That will probably pull out a lot of bots that aren't purposely obfuscated.
you could do a similar thing to isolate the bots from his retweeters
