My relatives were in concentration camps. They were put there to be exterminated. These are not concentration camps. Not even in the same ballpark. You’re smarter than this... thought you were any way. You can not like the boarder policy w/out saying bs like this.

Not that you’ll respond b/c you play to your academic socialist base now. The Jason I know was reasonable. I didn’t vote for Trump. I don’t like Trump but I refuse to lose track of my belief system and go far right. The extreme end of each spectrum is a dangerous place to live

I mean I respect our friendship and I respect your views, but we can agree to disagree here. Extremism is bad on both ends, but if you think it is extreme to oppose the torture and deaths of immigrants, I'm not sure how to approach that argument with you. This country is rapidly
spiraling into a situation where far-right politicians are letting it devolve to a fascist takeover. Here are twelve warning signs that a society is moving towards a fascism and we've basically now hit every one:
1. Powerful and continuing nationalism
2. Disdain for human rights

3. Identification of enemies as a unifying cause
4. Rampant sexism
5. Controlled mass media
6. Obsession with national security
7. Religion and government intertwined
8. Corporate power protected
9. Labor power suppressed
10. Disdain for intellectual and the arts

Torture and murder. They aren’t concentration camps. Period. They choose to come to the border. These policies have been in place for a long time. Up to congress to fix it but both sides (BOTH) are using those people as pawns in a political game. No better
