So my mother got caught in the Targetgeddon the other day. I looked online and noticed something. The same thing happened 5 years ago to the day. How amazing would this be if it involved expired certs, which used to have a max of 5 years?

FYI -- I think they capped certs to a max of 2 years in 2017 -- so you can be a prophet even sooner!

What amazes me is that they still think it makes sense to have their stores so tightly connected

They have an engineering page where they talk about how stores are supposed to run disconnected. It’s a challenging engineering problem to be connected enough for centralization and disconnected enough to not depend on the connectivity.
