I'm finding odd things within Twitter data, like creation dates that are impossible for accounts.
For example: twitter.com/mirai_dq10?lan
(Twitter didn't exist in the year 2000). This isn't the only occurrence I've found of incorrect account creation dates within Twitter's DB.

That seems very fishy. Could it be an internal clock error on their end? Something nefarious?

I'm not sure -- I've found two so far. I'm going to check my historical data and see if I can find those accounts to see if they've been like that for a while.

Could it be an old bug rather than a current api exploit? Having had a startup based on Twitter very early on, I saw their system would often 500 and 400... So bad data is possible...

That's definitely possible. What I'm wondering is if these accounts always had an incorrect join date or if there is some type of data corruption causing this.
