I think we all need to come up against this. For in doing this we are encouraging our daughters, mothers, girlfriends to pursue their passion. God women have come from far. They couldn't vote, in some African societies they were not allowed to eat the chicken they cooked

Just to add that Katie Bouman has a PhD from MIT and now she is an Assistant Professor at Caltech. Both these achievements mean academic brilliance. I doubt if a man got so publicity whether there would be women to bash his contributions and start counting his lines of codes.
