As for me, the question would be more precise “give the same ecosystem and libraries...”
I love Ruby’s syntax: blocks, keywords, modules/classes, sugar
I love pythons ecosystem - it’s not tied to webdev, but every microwave Owen has its python library :)

Not for 'any problem', but there are a TON of community made libraries for different things.

Python - Development time for me on Python has always been faster than other languages.

Agreed. All the #datascience folks I work with know #python -- not sure how many know Ruby. I've never asked.
